Frequently Asked Questions

Microneedling (SkinPen) FAQs

What is microneedling?

Microneedling uses tiny, sterile needles to create micro-injuries in the skin, stimulating collagen and elastin production for smoother, firmer skin and improved texture.

What conditions does it treat?

Microneedling helps reduce the appearance of fine lines, acne scars, stretch marks, enlarged pores, and overall skin texture issues.

Does it hurt?

We apply a numbing cream before treatment — most clients report only mild discomfort or a light prickling sensation.

How long is the treatment?

About 60–90 minutes, including numbing time.

Is there downtime?

You may have redness, tightness, or mild swelling for 1–3 days, like a light sunburn. Most clients resume normal activities within 24–48 hours.

How many sessions do I need?

We typically recommend 3–6 sessions, spaced about 4–6 weeks apart, for optimal results.
